10 Great Tips to get in Shape!
A successful diet has to follow fundamental rules in what concerns nutrition and exercise. We all know that losing weight isn’t easy but it doesn’t have to be the hardest things in the world.
The important thing is to remember that there are no miracle diets and you shouldn’t lose more than 7 pounds a week.
Give this, I learned some successful tips that, as a complement to a healthy nutrition and physical activity can improve your weight loss goals.
1) Drink at least 8 glasses of water, everyday. When trying to lose weight it is very important to stay hydrated.
Our body is 70% water so let’s not neglect this wonderful fluid that helps your toxins go away. It doesn’t make you slimmer, but it helps a lot with liquid retention and cellulite.
2) When you have cravings for some chocolates or an extra sweet dessert, do yourself a favour and eat a piece of fruit. They taste great and do wonders for your figure, besides being highly nutritive!
3) Avoid at all cost eating before you go to bed. That’s the worse thing you can do!
Besides spending less calories at night, eating in bed and before going to bed is your one way ticket to extra pounds.
4) Eat a frugal dinner. As I said you should decrease the amount of food ingested as the day goes by because your body loses the ability to process food and your metabolism gets slower as the hours pass.
5) Have at least 4 meals a day. Start with a healthy breakfast, that includes proteins, vitamins, minerals and carbs.
Have a good lunch that includes white meat or fish and vegetables with a light dessert or a piece of fruit. Have a snack in the afternoon (some milk, and a mini cheese sandwich) and end your day with a very light dinner (a salad, some soup and an apple are perfect).
6) Substitute coffee fro green tea. It give you the same amount of energy and concentration but helps you burn calories much faster.
Drink it without sugar, you’ll appreciate the true flavour of this wonderful drink.
You can even add some milk and drink it the British way!
7) Start moving now! Take a 10 minute walk at lunch time, walk or take public transportation to work, take the stairs instead of the elevator and end your day playing with your kids!
